Ojude Oba Festival

       The Ojude Oba is a grand,elaborate and glamorous festival celebrated with extreme pageantry. During the ceremony almost everywhere is closed, all hotels are fully booked and there is lot of food and drinks.
     This festival started as a small gathering of Islamic religion pay homage and to show appreciation to the reigning Monarch for his kind and benevolence towards their religion. However,the present Ojude Oba has exceed religious lines which have actually attract people from different religion and tourists from far and wide.
    The ceremony is always held on the 3rd of Eid-Kabir, whereby Muslims,Christians, Tourists, and visitors match down to Oba  Sikiru Adetona Golden Jubilee Centre to witness and enjoy the glamour of the event.The 100 years ceremony receive over 45,000 visitors amidst singing,dancing and drumming also going to pay homage to the Awujale of Ijebu land.
